We are immediately seeking the following at our Emden site: Linux IT system administrator
Your tasks:		Your profile:
Installation and supervision of our servers Independent implementation of existing solution strategies for rectification of problems Independent removal of faults during on-call duty (24x7), which is also an included task Administration and development of our network, and server monitoring to guarantee a high level of system availability Provision of internal support Creation of documentation		Sound knowledge of current Linux distributions and their administration; knowledge of current network technology (virtual networks, switches, routers, firewalls) Experience in first- / second-level support Several years of experience using Apache and MySQL Programming experience in Bash, Perl, PHP would be an advantage Experience in load balancing Routing and switching knowledge Good knowledge of hardware and of TCP/IP-based networks Structured, independent working methods Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Results-oriented and independent working style
